Celebration for Saving Diablo Canyon

We toasted the occasion at Kristin’s restaurant, the Halfway Station, halfway between Morro Bay and Atascadero, California.

We decided we need to celebrate more often, and what better occasion than the saving of Diablo Canyon. We invited fellow advocates and colleagues from across the country, some who were new to the effort, and others, like Eric Meyer and Daniel See, who have been with us since the very beginning.

The Halfway Station was amazing and delicious. We highly recommend them! ;-)

We handed out Diablo Canyon hero awards, the kids helped distribute puzzles to all the attendees, and we had an amazing dinner, lots of great conversation, a running slide show, and also planning for the future. Our work is not yet done!

At the end of the evening we were treated to a special surprise nuclear opera, courtesy of Eric Meyer, Generation Atomic.
