2017 California Climate Change Symposium

Mothers for Nuclear attended the California Climate Change Symposium in 2017.

Unfortunately, it seemed to be business as usual for the company that had just decided to shut down California’s single largest source of clean electricity.

It was busy-busy during the sessions. Many did not want to hear anything about nuclear energy or Diablo Canyon. But there were still several friendly faces mixed in with a couple of not-so-friendly ones.

After the symposium, Heather took some time to explore the capitol and ponder the responsibility of our elected officials when making energy decisions that affect the future of humanity.
