Cal Poly NiCE Club

We did tabling on Dexter Lawn at Cal Poly for two days leading up to the kickoff event for a Cal Poly NiCE Club (Nuclear is Clean Energy!). Lots of students wanted to learn more about how to Stand Up for Nuclear.

Students LOVED the gummi bears! And quite a few then signed up to attend the kickoff meeting to learn more about nuclear energy and potentially start a club.

One of the students showed us how there was an anti-nuclear painted utility box just around the corner. We reached out to the artist….

Kickoff meeting was a HUGE success with over 50 students attending!

We had student leadership from the NiCE Club at Berkeley join us, plus Paris (Stand Up for Nuclear), Eric (Generation Atomic), and Ryan to talk about advocacy.
