EAARP webinar and panel discussion

On April 19, MfN joined advocates from Generation Atomic and The Thorium Network to present information about nuclear advocacy to the East African Association of Radiation Protection (an affiliate of IRPA).

We got so many great comments and questions in the chat.

We also learned a TON about Africa’s current research reactors (there are a lot!) and their desires for more nuclear in the future.

Worldwide demand for research reactors is huge.

Many countries in Africa are either expanding or developing programs for reserach reactors.

There are lots of reasons in addition to nuclear medicine that Africa needs nuclear.
